The Mission and The Movement

End Unconscious Bias™ is something that we must do. Our personal backgrounds, our experiences, our socioeconomic status, the things we were taught by our parents and loved ones, the things we hear said at the dinner table with our families, the images we see on our TV and computer screens – they all contribute to who we are and how we think about other people. We form perceptions about others.

Our mission is to have every police department in the United States, every major corporation, every educational institution, and every citizen in America take specific concrete steps to End Unconscious Bias. If you are a law enforcement officer, an employee, or a student, demand that your leadership, your company’s CEO, or your school’s President or Principal contact us to help them become a more inclusive, more effective organization. We will deliver a customized set of practical solutions and collateral materials to help to transform their organization.

End Unconscious Bias™ is a mission and a movement. Bias is a noun and a verb.

As a noun bias is defined as “prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair.”

As a verb bias is defined as: “to cause to feel or show inclination or prejudice for or against someone or something.”

We aim to be the first organization ever to put a computer lab and a multi-use classroom inside of as many police stations as possible. Kids going after school every day and on weekends to The Safest Place™, i.e. inside of police stations, to learn computer coding along with basic supplemental education is a good thing. A very good thing. This will literally shatter the mutual contempt that exists today between police and citizens. That’s the premise of our police involved year round STEM academics and sports youth development program, CopCamps™ (www.CopCamps.org).
